Three members of the BSA U13 girls team were selected to the 1999 Olympic Development Program Regional pool. Hannah Spitzer, Riley Bowers and Madisyn Pezzino were among 80 players selected from over 500 players from the 13 states in Region 1, represented at the ODP Regional Camp on 7/11-7/15/2012. The camp was held at the University of Rhode Island and featured players that competed in the recent ODP tournament held in Princeton, NJ. Region 1(of 4) is comprised of states in the Northeast and Mid-atlantic area including Maine, Delaware, New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, Vermont, West Virginia and Connecticut . The girls will have the opportunity to train with Regional and National team coaches at various regional events throughout the upcoming year. In addition, the girls will have the opportunity to compete for a spot in the U.S. National pool. Each Region will send 25 girls to the U.S. National pool. In addition to the girls mentioned above, four other members of the U13 BSA girls team competed on behalf of the New York West "A" team at the Regional tournament in Princeton, NJ , including Anna Davies, Abby DeCicco, Taylor DiMarco and Hannah Pufpaff.
